Any Whistler restaurant is as good as the next. Of course they are all different to each other. But each restaurant has their own unique flair and dining experience. A huge array of variety is available and it really comes down to what you feel like eating on the night to what Whistler restaurant you choose.

However, we all go to a foreign destination and want to know which restaurant has what food, feel and service. Below are our personal reviews on the places we have enjoyed a meal.

Alternatively, the remaining Whistler restaurant, pubs, cafe's and take-out are simply listed, as I have not had the opportunity to experience them.

The Brewhouse
We have eaten here in both the pub and restaurant. The pub grub is deluxe. We've had a few burgers and they are big and tasty which are sure to fill you up. A range of wood fired pizza's compliments their freshly brewed beer. We have indulged in the Italian sausage and chicken pizza, with both being just as good as each other.
In the Whistler restaurant, I took advantage of the seafood pasta. Finally, a restaurant that actually puts a lot of seafood in the meal, rather than one of everything. I was very happy with my meal and polished the plate.

Jason, couldn't shy away from another wood fired pizza. They really go down nicely. We have spotted the pork spare ribs that they serve, and we have our eye on that as our next meal. Although, it looks like we would need 4 people to eat it!
We found the staff to be great here, with lots of friendly service. The pub area would not be suitable for families, however the restaurant and patio would be ideal. The meals are reasonably priced. You would expect to pay between $12-25 for a meal.

Busterino's Pizza
This place rocks after a night out. They are open till late with slices of pizza sitting there, waiting for our hungry mouths. At $3.75 a slice, it hits the spot nicely. They also do whole pizza's, lasagna and wings. Not technically a Whistler restaurant, but more of a take-away place.
*Hint: Free delivery and 10% off for pick-up.

Caramba Restaurante
A delightful Italian Whistler restaurant, with a casual and relaxed atmosphere. A good range of pizza and pasta to choose from, as well as additional Mediterranean food.
I had the salmon pasta. Yummy! Jason indulged in a pizza and we kept picking at one another's meals. Both meals tasted so good, we couldn't choose which one we wanted to eat!
The service is friendly and the environment welcomes couples, friends and families. Definitely a great way to enjoy a nice night out. Great food at great prices.
*Hint: Caramba get really busy, so make sure you book in advance as only 40% of this Whistler restaurant can be pre-booked. Otherwise you will be a 'walk-in' and may have to wait an hour for a table.

Crepe Montagne
Have you ever thought of having crepes for dinner?
No? Neither did we, but this Whistler restaurant has really opened my eyes. Everyone thinks to eat crepes for breakfast and as a sweet snack, but not for dinner. Jason and I decided to go for dinner and it was quite a shock as to how good and filling a crepe could really be!
I chose the Chorizo crepe and could taste the flavours of the sausage, cheese and sauces packed inside this little parcel. Jas couldn't go past the Seafood crepe, which literally melted in his mouth (and mine once I stole some!). With the creamy seafood sauce, combined with the fresh seafood, this crepe would bring a smile to any seafood lover's face. Each crepe comes with a delicious side salad. It is amazing how much flavour could come out of a crepe.
I washed it down with a Berry Smoothie, and would advise this for a refreshing, healthy drink.
For dessert, Jas indulged in a Banana Caramel Crepe which in his owns words were "absolutely delightful". We have travelled the world and had our fair share of Banana Caramel Crepes and Crepe Montagne's was the best so far. For me, once our waitress mentioned the Oh Berri Crepe had custard on it, I was sold. And boy was it a great combination.
We both recommend not going past enjoying dinner at Crepe Montagne. This truly was a great dining experience in Whistler, due to it opening our mind and introducing us (and soon you) to trying new and 'out of the box' tasty cuisines.
The atmosphere was small, intimate and casual at this Whistler restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly and we had a delightful time. Great for families, couples and friends.
*Hint: They get busy about 8pm, so be sure to pre-book this Whistler restaurant or get in early.

Crystal Lounge
The perfect place for cheap and tasty après. With 20c wings everyday, how could you go wrong? A round of beers, in a relaxed atmosphere is always accompanied with a bowl of Honey Garlic and Spicy Buffalo wings. Other food is available, but to tell you the truth, I have always been happy with my wings, to 'hit the spot' after a day of boarding.
*Hint: You can not get wings, if you are not sitting at a table (excludes the bar) and it gets busy, so get on early.

Earls Bistro
We had a great time here at Earls. The ambience here is Sex and The City aimed cleverly at both men and women. Greeted by sassy hostesses, the sophistication of Earls comes instantly into play.
Tonight's diners were Jason, Matt and myself. Appetizers were Leroy's Crispy Dry Ribs and Dynamite Shrimp Rolls which we all shared. The Dry Ribs were not my cup of tea, but I can tell you the boys devoured them and were gone in seconds!
Matt's main meal was one of the monthly feature dishes, Mahi Mahi. His thoughts were the way a fish should be... tender, delicate and tasty. A generous serving was had and the accompanying vegetables complimented the Mahi Mahi very well.
Jason's eyes lit up at the Full Order Hickory Back Ribs and Cajun Chicken Combo. What a serving! It was huge and as tasty as it was, he didn't get close to finishing it. The chicken was succulent with the Cajun spices running through it, and the ribs were juicy with plenty of meat.
The Filet Mignon was for me with fresh asparagus and sautéed mushrooms. Earls gladly substituted my side of mash potatoes for a salad. The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection and literally melted in my mouth.
The variety of beers were great for the boys, where as I tried the Earls Long Island Iced Tea. A first for me and definitely not the last. Something I don't usually go for, but I am glad I went for something different. Give it a go if you can with your appetizers. My hostess matched a Merlot with my meal.
Dessert was also a winner, with us sharing the Apple Pie and the Mocha Kahlua Ice Cream Pie. Oh yeah, we ate them till the last drop. They were delicious. Our favourite was the Apple Pie.

This Whistler restaurant is an up-scale, adult orientated, casual dining restaurant. The thing I like about Earls is that its sassy, sexy and sophisticated, but doesn't have the feel that you must be upper class to dine there. With a bar and lounge area as well, Earls is a place to go for a drink or dinner with your friends and attracts the young and the old. Additionally their range of food and prices appeals to everyone.
I loved the vibe from Earls and have actually already been back for a drink in the lounge area. I can safely say, this is going to be one of my new places to visit. Enjoy.

Hy's Steakhouse
If you're coming to Whistler and ready to treat yourself, then a fine dining experience is definitely had here at this Whistler restaurant. Our waiter, Aidaan, took excellent care of us, starting us off with garlic bread. We absolutely loved how Hy's precuts the garlic bread, so you have bite size pieces ready and waiting for you to devour.
We chose the Sautéed Garlic Shrimp for our appetizer. It was nice and light and a great start to our meal.
Jason ordered a house specialty, the Roast Rack of Lamb with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. It simply melted in Jason's mouth, tasting every flavor that his lamb was cooked in (and that is a rarity in our experience). Where as, I couldn't go past the Cuban Lobster Tails with fries and accompanied it with Sautéed Fresh Spinach. Well presented and a fresh seafood flavor. After tasting both meals, there was no doubt that Hy's uses the freshest and finest ingredients.
Aidaan kindly recommended a wine that would compliment our meals and we went with the Lincourt Pinot Noir. Just fabulous!
After dinner, we were not rushed to eat dessert and leave, rather we were encouraged to sit and enjoy our wine, while listening to the soft jazz and appreciate the relaxed and warm atmosphere.
For dessert, Jason treated himself to the Caramel Cheesecake and myself, the Chocolate Bomb. We were so full, but these desserts went down with great ease!
Overall, this Whistler restaurant welcomes families, couples and groups offering extremely friendly and prompt service.
I would have no hesitations in dining here again.

Longhorn Saloon & Grill
One of the biggest pubs in Whistler, the Longhorn suits every occasion. From Après to a casual drink, to a night on the town. They have a wide range of food with burgers, soups, sandwiches, wraps, steaks, ribs and salmon. Enjoying a casual lunch, I indulged in the Thai Wrap. The ingredients complimented each other so well, and the peanut sauce was to die for. I was so full after eating it, but loved every bite of it.
Jason went for an appetizer; Crispy Rib Pickens and a Basket "O" Fries. And the basket was "O" so big. The ribs had an accompanying dipping sauce, however there were no objections when we wanted some additional sauces (and surprisingly in Whistler, there was no extra charge). The whole meal was awesome...and not to mention gone in a flash.
The setting is fun, loud and always on the go. A good time is pretty much guaranteed.

Merlin's
This pub is well known for its Famous Nacho's.

So we gave it a go.

Just like the ribs at The Brewhouse, you need a team of people to knock this tower of nacho's over. We had 4 people in the team, with one being an extremely good eater, yet we did not pull through and couldn't finish it. The tower is topped with cheese, olives, jalapeno's, green onions, and salsa and sour cream on the side. For an extra $3 you can add chicken or guacamole. We added the chicken and got a sprinkle on the top. Not sure if its worth the extra charge.
But, for $17, you will be sure to feed at least 6 people comfortably with Merlin's Famous Nacho's. It goes down nicely with their $13 jugs too! If you're not into Nacho's, we spotted their burgers. Looking good!
*Hint: On Tuesday's, burgers are 2 for 1.

Mongolie Grill
Ah, how I love a good stir-fry. At this Whistler restaurant, you pay for what you eat and also eat what YOU want.  The set up is a long table with a mass amount of stir-fry ingredients, with every possible meat and vegetable you can think of. The way it works at Mongolie is you grab a plate and pile on as many vegetables and meats as you want to eat. They charge you based on the weight of your plate ($3.10/100g).
Part of the deal is free and unlimited rice and a free soup to start. So you really only pay for what you put on your plate. What also makes this Whistler restaurant a great place to eat, is once you have chosen your stir-fry they cook it right in front of you.
This is a place that family and friends can enjoy.

Splitz Grill
You may have heard that these guys do the best burgers in Whistler...we'll you heard right.
With a range of gourmet burgers, I ordered the Italian burger and Jason went for the Splitz burger. Oh, both were deluxe and well worth the cash. Ordering a combo is a must, with their fries tasting just as good. You choose what sauce and salad you want in the burger as well.
Depending on what burger and combo you order, you're looking at between $7-10 for a meal. I wouldn't leave Whistler without having tried a Splitz Burger. Not a Whistler restaurant per se, but a good quick bite to east. Give it a go for lunch.

The Wildflower
This is truly a spoil-yourself dining experience. For people who dine in restaurants like this on a regular basis, this would be no different to your usual standards– BUT, if you are like any average person, you will be overwhelmed with the service, food, wine and overall experience.
Jason, John and myself were the lucky diners tonight. Starting out with a martini each, the boys preferred the Lemon Drop, where as I got my kicks from Expresso Bean.
Served by the delightful Audrey, she made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down, to the time we retrieved our coats. Lucky for us, we had coincidently reserved our night on The Wildflower's night of seafood. So we enjoyed the regular, as well as the seafood menu.
Our starter for the night was a seafood platter shared by all. Consisting of Alaskan king crab legs in the middle and surrounded by melt-in-your-mouth Tuna, delicate oysters, fresh prawns, salmon, mussels and clams - our world was definitely our oyster!
We were served up a portion of each delectable piece and we sat and enjoyed the taste of fresh seafood with champagne! Yes, you heard me right. Audrey offered to pair our wine with each course. Champagne would have been the last thing we would have thought to have with seafood, but it went down with ease (as did the seafood).
Jason and John indulged in a shared main meal, which was a great option on the seafood menu. Deciding on the catch of the day, Alaskan Char, and pairing it with the Thai Hot Pot, a multitude of tantalising flavours tickled their taste buds. A request on the side, was some of The Wildflower's caramelised scallops. This was the biggest scallop they had seen, and by far the tastiest with a sweet and juicy flavour. Highly recommended by Jason and John, for shellfish lovers (I don't usually enjoy scallops, but they had to keep my fork off their plate!).
As for me, the duck breast caught my eye and was so mouth-watering. Sitting on a bed of green beans and mashed potatoes, I enjoyed every mouthful.
We sat and enjoyed our meal and sipped on our wine, when dessert was brought on a platter - an apple crumble treat, and chocolate mousse delicacies were presented. Dessert was paired with a peach Ice wine. Deluxe.
After three hours of being wined and dined, we enjoyed each others company in front of the fire. An experience not to be missed - make your night out in Whistler a special occasion. Go on - treat yourself. You deserve it.
